Trycera Financial Inc., a Newport Beach, Calif.-based company specializing in customized stored value programs, has launched a new prepaid MasterCard called Finium. Users can load money onto the card for purchases at locations where MasterCard debit is accepted. Cardholders also can withdraw cash via Mastercard's ATM network. The Finium card can be reloaded at Western Union Money Transfer Agent locations, via payroll deposit and bank transfer, and at participating retailers.Additionally, the prepaid card features Click N' Pay bill payment, enabling users to pay bills via the Internet and over the phone. The card is targeted toward students, travelers and online shoppers, Matt Kerper, CEO of Trycera Financial, said in a statement. Meta Payment Systems, a division of Storm Lake, IA-based MetaBank, issues the cards and Parsippany, NJ-based Galileo Processing Inc. processes them.
