Nearly 10 million Ukrainian homes likely to get cable and IPTV in the next 5 years.(UKRAINE)(Brief article)

Cable services are likely to witness a healthy growth in the Ukrainian market in the years to come. According to Mediaset, around 10 million households in the nation are expected to get IPTV (Internet Protocol television) and cable services in the next five years. Similarly, the total number of households that access digital terrestrial television is forecasted to be at 7 million, with the DTH (direct-to-home) user base likely to be in the range of 3 million to 4 million. Market experts suggest that Ukraine's biggest cable operator, Volia, will capture a lion's share of these new additions.
