NSW: Hollywood star slams the slots for Souths

Hollywood actor RUSSELL CROWE and his NRL club co-owner PETER HOLMES A COURT .. are
drumming up support for their no-pokies leagues club plan for their South Sydney team.

About 10 thousand Souths fans will receive an email from the pair today urging them
to back the vision .. ahead of next week's crucial meeting of the leagues club board to
decide the option.

The Daily Telegraph reports that to push their plan .. T-shirts with the words "A club
with no pokies" have been produced.
